John is a digital marketer and lead generation specialist who focuses on the construction industry. He has been in construction sales most of his adult life. John’s construction and sales background laid the foundation for his understanding of what contractors are looking for when they come to him to increase their business sales through digital marketing.
John started off in finance where he obtained his security and insurance licenses through a Wall Street investment firm (First Investors Corporation). He worked there as a licensed financial planner, after which he opened his own construction and painting business with a staff of 21 employees.
His company then evolved into a residential and historical preservation company. John built a pipeline of sales leads in order to maintain a sustainable and on-going business which led his company to be in the top five contractors in his field.
John received his Associates Degree of Applied Science from Hudson Valley Community College Troy, NY and went on to obtain numerous certifications over the years including commercial and industrial estimating, IICRC Flood Certification, Certificate in Electrical Construction and Maintenance I, PDCA Contractors College, and EPA Lead Certification He was awarded Best Finishes for a project for Hunter Mountain Ski Resort. He was trained on digital marketing and lead generation through the BAM Corporation and Sales Acumen at Umbrella.
In addition to John’s professional career, he volunteered as a rescue diver and fire rescue as a member of the Albany National Civil Defense Team (Cohoes Rescue Squad) for several years and at San Damiano Franciscan Community (part of the Catholic Charities Organization) for 15 years as secretary and treasurer.
