Kennard R. George is a digital marketer who brings a very diverse background to his role as an Umbrella Xact Expert. Ken obtained a BBA in marketing more than two decades ago. However, his entrance into the field of digital marketing began in 2020 when he saw the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on local businesses. Ken understood that most local businesses affected by the pandemic needed digital solutions to overcome their challenges. This is what motivated him to start a career in digital marketing. Before becoming a digital marketer, Ken worked in the securities industry. He started out as a stockbroker at an investment bank and stock brokerage firm. He later became the national sales manager of a brokerage firm and retired after helping the firm grow from less than $8 million to over $100 million in revenue.
Before his career in the securities industry, Ken was a jazz trombonist and played behind stars like Tony Bennet, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Ray Price, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra and Elvis. He still performs on trombone professionally in the DFW Metroplex.
Ken currently lives in the city of Fort Worth with his wife, Angela, and their two rescue dogs, Frazier and Miles. He is a member of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.
